Last night i was scrolling through YouTube to try to calm the immense sadness i was submerged in. I came across a video about a man who had a
near death experience, i was interested so i clicked the video almost immediately. Long story short, the man expressed how when he was drowning, he
felt immense joy and saw a group of lights that were all above the concepts of hierarchy, judgement and ego as a whole. He then expressed how he
became one of the many lights present. he said many other things but in this entry i won't talk about his experience, i will talk about what I learnt
about it.
First of all, what i consider to be the purpose of all conscious being in existence, not only the living, but also the dead, is to be happy.
The objective of every entity is to be happy. Although cliche, it is a reality that is really difficult to remember, we get so caught up in the constant demand of society and business that we forget to set happiness as a priority. Now, happiness might be hard to achieve for some, and that is normal because we are never thaught how to be happy (which really tells a lot about the world we live in) and instead, we only get thaught how to be productive and how to collaborate to society. But youu can learn how to be happy, and i am not a professional but from what i reflected, there are three principle to happiness:
Acceptance: To be happy you first have to accept and acknowledge everything that bothers you, you have to find a solution instead of worrying.
And once you know what the solution is, focusing your attention on getting to that solution, all while you are concious and accept that thing that
bothers you.
Love: This is the most important one to us human beings and to most animals, because we have evolved in a way where love makes us feel happy
and important, so it is important to spread and recieve love wherever you go.
Being yourself!: This is the most obvious part of happiness and it is a reality that many of us forget most of the time, but no matter your
ethnicity, sexuality, skin color, etc. You should be yourself and be happy being with who you are.
There are many other things you need to be happy, like knowledge, friends, health, and more, but the three i mentioned above are the main things
But there are more things i learned while reflecting. One of them being that we, as humans shall not wish or bring bad upon others, instead we need
to learn to share and be nice with each other as we all come and go from the same place and we are all made of the same things and we all feel the
same feelings. the only thing that makes you different from anyone else is your consciousness, your soul. So you got to make sure that you have
a positive impact on the people and the enviroment that surrounds you, because you are infinitely meaningful and important, while at the same time
not being more than anyone and not being less than anyone, but rather being the result of the choices of everyone who came before you, and you are
part of the sum that gives the future people's soul as result. And if you don't believe me, think of anyone except for you and me, probably a friend
came to mind, maybe someone from your family, maybe an historic figure like Tesla. Whoever you thought about was just a person like you and me, and
they all had an impact in your life, whether that impact was making you grow as a person, to being the reason you are alive today, they are important. and so are you.
And in case that was not enough to convince you that your purpose is to be happy, i would like to bring my subjective opinion on this. I personally
dont believe in the god of any religion in particular, but i believe in an unknown god that no one will ever completely know, the only thing i know
about this god is that it created everything that lives for it to live happily regardless of what they find happiness in, which can be proved by the
mere fact that we are able to feel happiness, that we can see beauty, that we can love others and there's so much more things that prove that we
are meant to be happy that i cannot even tell how we were fooled for this long to believe nothing matters. "But Cruz, what about all the suffering
that people go through? you are ignoring that!" Well, how would you enjoy happiness if you didnt experience sadness, anger, and fear first? the first
time you watch a series you feel good, but after rewatching the series again, and again, and again you will not feel the same happiness. Happiness
can never be constant, but it is never permanently gone. I hope i was able to help you find happiness and i hope that you live a fulfilling life.
Your life does matter.
